Russound®, an industry leader in the multi-room audio environment needed an injection of innovation to their offering. They came to us for our experience in speaker industry and ability to visually brand their new line of IC - Series Ceiling Speakers. SWARM incorporated the latest advances in material technologies and audio engineering to provide the best sounding and most unique speaker lineup in Russound’s 50-year history.
Not only did the new line need premium sound quality, Russound also wanted a distinctive look and features that will make their speakers easier to install, saving time and money for all involved. We drew from our intimate knowledge of the audio industry and design experience in diverse industries to develop Easygrip™ tweeter posts and bridges to make all of the IC-Series speakers easy to hold at the top of a ladder, and most importantly, patented Swiftlock™ technology for effortless installation at the push of a button.
SwiftLock technology features tool-free, self-adjusting clamps that are secured in place by 3 push buttons. Speaker installation time is drastically reduced allowing installers to simply cut a hole, attach wires, and press the speaker into the hole, while SwiftLock adapts to the surface thickness with a preset clamping force that eliminates the possibility of breaking attachments or damaging drywall.
