We created the 3D Hydro reservoir with a three dimensional design, meaning the top and bottom layers lay separated from each other. This allows for incredibly fast drying cycles, easier cleaning and filling, and improved positioning on your back by distributing the water load more efficiently.
Several ingenious little features make the Gregory Reservoirs easier and more intuitive to use. A co-molded semi-rigid spine handle provides more stable and spill-free filling along with full length bladder support which makes loading and unloading a breeze. Refills are also made a cinch by the integrated quick disconnect hose system. This exciting feature allows you to keep the drinking end of your hose threaded and secured through your pack, while conveniently filling the bladder at your water source of choice.
These huge, convenient upgrades are coupled with several more smart touches like a grippier fill port cap that’s way easier to open and close, a flip out hanger clip for faster drying and easier storage while on the trail, and the SpeedClip mounting system which allows for secure one handed insertion of the bladder into a Gregory Pack.
So it’s safe to say we fulfilled both the original design brief, but our own interests in a far better hydration bladder system. Now excuse us while we hit the trails.
